BetFury Casino - Player's winnings are confiscated.
The player from Costa Rica filed a complaint against BetFury for the confiscation of his balance after he returned to the platform following a period of inactivity. Despite having successfully completed KYC verification and having his account reactivated, his withdrawal request was canceled because Ukraine was listed as a restricted country, which he had not been informed of initially. The player sought assistance in recovering the confiscated 193 USD. After a thorough investigation, it was established that the casino had acted in accordance with its Terms and Conditions. The account was reactivated after ownership was confirmed via email, with KYC verification initiated only at the time of withdrawal, which revealed the player's residence in a restricted jurisdiction. The player had used a VPN and provided inaccurate country information during verification, which contributed to the situation. Consequently, the complaint was rejected as no unfair conduct by the casino was identified.
