Stopped doing the national lottery in the UK, wanted to try the Irish lottery, found the only way I could do it was through Betfred. I signed up which was easy, had two lines on the Irish lottery, went to go on my account today only to find it will not accept my password, naturally it stopped me once I tried it three times, so I went on to change my password, every time I press the link to the email they sent me it's coming up as an alert because the link is not safe.I put £10 on my account yesterday, spent two on the Irish lottery, I have £8 left that I cannot get to now.There's a little box comes up when I'm trying to log in asking me why logging in was not successful, it won't even let me type in it.Dreadful site to use, looks like I have lost my £8 pound, will never use again. Anyone reading this should make note and be warned. Betfreds online slot algorithm allows you to win an amount, say roughly £100 and then if you keep playing, the system changes the game and you then only win a few 50ps until all the winnings are clawed back. Whilst I appreciate gambling is a risk, it is not a 50/50 risk when the software is designed to cheat you. Worst possible betting company ever along side Skybet. Never download or use them. When I’m trying to make a deposit its bugged and glitched and it doesn’t allow me. I closed Betfred account - another firm that’s clearly lowered its RTPs in response to the UK governments online gaming levy’s. My experience with Betfred has been extremely disappointing.My account was closed without any explanation. At first, I thought it might have been because my wife and I live at the same address, but when I contacted live chat, the agent confirmed that two accounts are allowed in the same household.I asked if I could provide any documents or identification to resolve the issue, but was simply told that the security team's decision was final and that they were not obligated to provide a reason for closing my account.I understand that companies have the right to make business decisions, but completely refusing to explain why an account has been closed or offering any meaningful review process is poor customer service. As a genuine customer, I expected greater transparency and at least the opportunity to address any concerns.Very disappointing experience.
