Allwyn reported net revenue of €1.2bn for the second quarter of 2026, up 27% year-on-year. Growth was driven by the acquisition of US daily fantasy sports platform PrizePicks, completed in January, and steady performance across continental Europe.
Adjusted EBITDA rose 29% to €458m, with margin at 37%. Organic revenue growth stood at 5% when stripping out PrizePicks and higher gaming taxes in Austria — matching the first quarter despite tough prior-year comparatives.
CEO Robert Chvátal said digital channels, betting and improved UK performance following completion of The National Lottery's technology overhaul all contributed. Sports betting benefited from the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Allwyn became the first operator outside the US to launch Powerball, rolling out the draw in Austria, the Czech Republic and Britain. PrizePicks expanded its North American offering, merging PlayerPicks with TeamPick and adding prediction markets to fantasy sports.
The group closed its combination with Greek operator OPAP and agreed to lift its stake in German lottery distributor Next Lotto to 65%, securing control. The interim dividend for 2026 was set at €0.20 per share; combined with the buyback, total capital return reached €1.19 per share.
Allwyn reaffirmed full-year 2026 guidance: revenue growth in the mid-to-high 20s percentage range, before one-off costs of around €60m, and EBITDA margin of 37%. Chvátal said the company remains confident in its ability to deliver sustained growth and strong cash generation over the long term.
