Our write-up of a story first reported by Google Ads Blog

We’re bringing AI Brief to more languages and adding a new AI Max reporting feature.

Google has expanded the closed beta of AI Brief, a tool that lets advertisers steer AI Max campaigns through plain-text instructions. It now supports Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish. AI Brief allows users to describe their business, audience and key messages in their own words, and the algorithm configures the campaign accordingly.

The second update is a new reporting panel inside Google Ads. It will show the full user journey in search advertising: which query triggered the ad, which creative the user saw, and which landing page they reached. The goal is to give advertisers visibility into how AI Max operates and whether the algorithm is hitting the mark. Right now the black-box nature of AI campaigns raises questions among those used to manual control over bids and targeting.

Google has promised to share availability details for both features before the end of the year. It remains unclear when AI Brief will leave beta or whether it will be available for Russian-language accounts. For arbitrage teams and affiliates running traffic through Google Ads, the appeal is clear: less setup time, more data for optimisation. Whether AI Brief can handle niche offers and grey verticals is still an open question.
