Click injection— what it means in affiliate marketing
Android fraud where a malicious app detects an install in progress and fires a click just before it finishes, claiming the attribution.
The giveaway is timing: the click-to-install gap is measured in seconds instead of minutes. Google closed the broadcast that made the classic version possible, and the pattern moved on rather than disappeared.
