2FA— what it means in affiliate marketing
Two-factor authentication: access requires a password plus a second independent factor.
In this industry it is less about hygiene than about asset protection — ad accounts, network balances and wallets are stolen routinely. SMS as the second factor is the weak version, and SIM swaps are why.
