It queries real-time quotes, end-of-day values, exchange directories, and OHLCV time series with intervals ranging from 1min to 1month. Support for pre-market and post-market pricing is included for US equities.
Running queries requires the TWELVEDATA_API_KEY environment variable. The tool strictly targets traditional markets such as equities, foreign exchange, and commodities like gold or crude oil. Cryptocurrency lookups are unsupported. Quotes provide closing prices rather than bid/ask spreads, while batch functions can fetch up to 120 tickers in a single API call.
