review-docs — Claude Code skill: what it does, how to install
Evaluates and iterates on tldraw SDK documentation against style guides and actual code. Useful for auditing articles and catching inaccurate API references.
npx skills add tldraw/tldraw --skill review-docs -a claude-codeWhat review-docs does
The skill initiates an evaluation loop by writing a tracker file to your scratchpad directory. In the first round, it calls two parallel subagents: a style agent that scores readability and tone, and a content agent that verifies statements against source code in packages/editor/ and packages/tldraw/. It calculates a total score out of 40 points across four categories.
Once the review finishes, it reports priority issues and prompts for next steps. You can choose to fix issues and re-evaluate, apply all fixes and finish, or simply stop. Fixed items receive status updates in the tracker so resolved problems are not inspected twice.
This skill assumes the tldraw repository setup, depending directly on local files like ../../VOICE.md and ../shared/docs-guide.md. Running it outside this repo structure will cause the review agents to fail when loading guidelines.
What it helps with
- audit documentation in
apps/docs/contentagainst the voice guide - verify documented API behavior against
packages/editor/andpackages/tldraw/ - track documentation issues across iterative revision rounds
- score articles across readability, voice, completeness, and accuracy
Example prompts for the agent
- Review docs for apps/docs/content/editor.md
- Audit this documentation file against our style guide and verify API references
