One topic, three sources. The skill runs a freshness-filtered web search, then Reddit, then X, and looks for themes that show up three or more times. It lifts quotes from the most upvoted comments and reads the mood of the community: hype, doubt, annoyance. What comes out is a report with patterns, a per-subreddit breakdown and a prompt you can paste straight into your next task.
Three modes are available. quick stays on Reddit and returns ten findings, standard adds X and the web with a full synthesis, deep layers on a strategic brief and competitive intelligence. standard is the default.
Check your environment before the first run. Web search needs a Brave Search API key; X needs Bird CLI with ~/.openclaw/credentials/bird.env. Reddit insights come from an MCP server when one is configured, otherwise the skill falls back to searching the site through Brave. No Bird CLI means the X step produces nothing, so run /last30days --check-setup first — it reports what is and is not available.
