testimonial-collector — Claude Code skill
Systematically collect, score, and format client testimonials for websites, proposals, and sales materials. Use it when you need to convert satisfied clients into social proof and track what makes a testimonial credible.
npx skills add BrianRWagner/ai-marketing-claude-code-skills --skill testimonial-collector -a claude-codeWhat testimonial-collector does
testimonial-collector offers three modes: quick (single outreach script and template for urgent requests), standard (repeatable collection system with timing, templates, and placement guidance), and deep (full system with multi-channel strategy and case study pipeline). Before generating anything, the skill gathers context: client name, company, industry, project type, at least one concrete result or metric, desired format, and urgency. It stops and asks for specifics if results sound vague.
The skill evaluates any testimonial against a four-factor matrix—specificity, measurability, authentic voice, and length—scoring each from 1 to 5. When any factor scores below 2, it flags the gap and suggests iteration. Output includes three formats: two-line version for homepages, medium paragraph for service pages or decks, and full narrative for case studies. Each comes with a placement recommendation and guidance on where to use it.
What it helps with
- request and collect testimonials from clients with a proven script
- format testimonial content into three lengths for different channels
- score testimonial quality to determine if it's ready to publish
- avoid vague praise by extracting or validating concrete metrics
- build a repeatable testimonial collection system to hand to a team member
Example prompts for the agent
- Create a request script and generate three formats—short, medium, full—for a client testimonial about a lead generation project
- Score this testimonial and flag what's missing before I use it on my homepage
- Set up a system for collecting and formatting testimonials from multiple clients over time

What information do I need to gather before using this skill?
