npx skills add cognyai/claude-code-marketing-skills --skill pmax-audit -a claude-codeWhat pmax-audit does
The skill gathers Performance Max campaign data and reviews asset-group status and ad strength. It checks counts of headlines, images, and videos, and can flag assets with limited delivery or groups that lack a video.
It requires Cogny access through MCP and a connected Google Ads account. You can pass a campaign name or ID. Microsoft Ads alone cannot provide the asset-level audit, so Google Ads access is a prerequisite for that part.
When the relevant services are connected, the skill can also compare Microsoft Ads figures and check conversions using GA4, Shopify, or WooCommerce data. Microsoft Ads results appear separately; store data can help compare reported ad conversions with paid orders.
What it helps with
- identify asset groups with weak ad strength
- check creative coverage in each asset group
- find assets with limited delivery
- compare Performance Max spend and conversions
- compare reported conversions with paid orders
Example prompts for the agent

/pmax-audit Holiday Retail. - Check whether this campaign's asset groups have enough images and video; run
/pmax-audit.
