iot-witness-verify — Claude Code skill: what it does, how to install
Verifies witness chain integrity for Cognitum Seed devices and detects provenance gaps. Useful for uncovering broken hash chains and missing epochs.
npx skills add ruvnet/ruflo --skill iot-witness-verify -a claude-codeWhat iot-witness-verify does
The iot-witness-verify skill validates witness chain integrity on Cognitum Seed hardware. It triggers a verification script via npx using the @claude-flow/[email protected] package with a target device identifier. During the run, the agent inspects hash chain consistency and detects missing epochs.
After inspection, the skill reports an integrity score between 0.0 and 1.0. Whenever it encounters broken links, it calls mcp__plugin_ruflo-core_ruflo__memory_store to log the incident under the iot-audit namespace. This maintains an audit trail for forensic review.
Execution depends on Bash permissions and an active Ruflo memory store tool. Without access to the @claude-flow/[email protected] package, the check fails outright.
What it helps with
- verify witness chain integrity on Cognitum Seed devices
- detect broken hash chains and epoch gaps
- calculate an integrity score from 0.0 to 1.0
- record provenance gaps into Ruflo audit memory
Example prompts for the agent
- Verify the witness chain integrity for DEVICE_ID
- Run iot-witness-verify on device <device-id>
- Check hash chain breaks and epoch gaps for DEVICE_ID
