npx skills add github/awesome-copilot --skill finalize-agent-promptWhat finalize-agent-prompt does
The skill takes a prompt file and edits it in the role of an AI agent. It reviews the organization of the instructions, wording, spelling, grammar, and clarity, using patterns from prompt files that have worked well.
The file’s front matter, encoding, and Markdown structure stay intact. When no prompt file is provided, the skill asks for it before proceeding. The original intent of the instructions must remain unchanged.
Install it when an existing prompt needs a careful editorial pass without changing its purpose. It is not the right fit for writing a prompt from scratch.
What it helps with
- review a prompt file’s structure
- fix unclear wording and grammar
- organize instructions more clearly
- preserve front matter and Markdown
- polish a prompt for end users
Example prompts for the agent
- Review this prompt file and fix unclear wording.
- Organize the prompt while preserving its front matter and original intent.
- Edit this Markdown prompt for spelling, grammar, and clarity without changing its instructions.

Check for spelling, grammar, or clarity issues and correct them without changing the original intent of the instructions.
