What figma-create-new-file does

This skill acts as a mandatory preparation step before calling the create_new_file tool. It takes the editor type (design, figjam, or slides) and the target file name, falling back to Untitled when arguments are omitted. The new file lands directly in the user drafts folder under the selected plan.

Execution relies on obtaining a valid planKey. If no key is provided in the prompt, the skill invokes whoami to inspect available teams. If your account belongs to multiple organizations, the agent prompts you to choose the target workspace. After file creation, the skill provides file_key and direct file_url values for downstream tools like use_figma.

Slides files present an edge case: newly created decks contain zero rows and zero slides. Any subsequent script expecting default template frames will fail until you run createSlide().
