What excel-analysis does

This skill supplies Claude Code with patterns for tabular data work. The agent learns to inspect multi-sheet workbooks and calculate group metrics. It also covers combining separate sheets by common keys.

Code patterns handle spreadsheet output with openpyxl and pandas. Claude Code can auto-fit column widths or highlight specific cell values. For visual charts, it relies on matplotlib.

All execution requires a local Python runtime. These dependencies are mandatory. When dealing with heavy datasets, the instructions suggest reading select columns with usecols or parsing rows in batches via chunksize.
