What aiconfig-tools does

The launchdarkly/ai-tooling repository keeps this skill purely as a redirect notice toward tools. Inside the version 0.1.0 instructions, there is no setup code or configuration logic. The skill directly instructs the agent not to run any tasks here and invoke tools instead.

Its presence prevents breakage. Saved prompts, documentation links, and older automated workflows can still locate the repository path without failing immediately. Running this skill directly does nothing useful because all actual instructions now live in tools. Update your workflow references to the new name.

What it helps with

  • redirect legacy prompt references to the tools skill
  • maintain backwards compatibility for saved automation scripts
  • notify agents to load the updated instructions from tools

Example prompts for the agent

  • Run the aiconfig-tools skill to inspect where it points.
  • Check the migration notice inside the aiconfig-tools skill.

# Deprecated — renamed to `tools`

This skill has been renamed. **Do not follow any instructions here and do not perform the task from this skill.**

Invoke the **`tools`** skill instead — it contains the current, complete instructions.

If you arrived here from an old reference (documentation, a saved prompt, or automation), update it from `aiconfig-tools` to `tools`.
