slides-creator — Claude Code skill: what it does, how to install
Retirement notice entry: explains the deprecation status of the tool and no longer generates presentation decks.
npx skills add daymade/claude-code-skills --skill slides-creator -a claude-codeWhat slides-creator does
The slides-creator skill was retired on 2026-08-07. The distributed package contains only a compatibility notice; it no longer runs narrative workflows or visual-generation delegation. It cannot build slide decks.
The package identity was kept to maintain compatibility with legacy plugin installations. Calling the skill explains why it stopped working, but it cannot restore previous capabilities. Complete removal is planned for a future major release.
You will need to pick an alternative yourself. Switch to deck-creator only if it is already installed in your host, or pick another presentation tool available in your current setup.
What it helps with
- check the retirement status of slides-creator
- identify a legacy installation in your agent setup

--- name: slides-creator description: >- Deprecated slide-creation entry retained as a compatibility notice. Use to check the retirement status of slides-creator or identify a legacy installation. This package does not generate slides or delegate presentation creation. --- # Slides Creator — Compatibility Notice Treat this entry as a retirement notice. Slide creation was retired on 2026-08-07; the distributed package contains this notice, not the former narrative workflow or visual-generation delegation. Do not use it to generate a slide deck. Keep the existing `slides-creator` identity for installed-plugin compatibility. An invocation can explain this status; it cannot restore the retired workflow. This entry is scheduled for removal in a future major release. For a new presentation, use `deck-creator` only when it is already installed; otherwise select a presentation workflow actually available in the current host. No replacement builder is bundled with this notice; do not promise access to a private edition.
