What firebase does

This plugin adds the Firebase MCP integration to Claude. Once it is in, the agent can read and edit Firestore documents, deal with authentication settings, touch cloud functions, hosting and storage — without you leaving the editor for the Firebase console.

It installs from the official marketplace anthropics/claude-plugins-official, Apache-2.0, published by Google. Under the hood it is an MCP server that Claude launches like any other tool. Access to your Firebase project runs through your own credentials, so check that the CLI is logged in and the right project is selected before the first call. Get that wrong and the agent will happily edit a different project than the one you meant.

Claude Code is the only platform here. If your backend is not on Firebase, there is nothing for this plugin to do.
