What VIVATLAS does

VIVATLAS aggregates scattered coding skills, agents, and servers from GitHub or Gitea into a structured index. Badges and sponsor buttons get discarded automatically. The system reviews repository documentation and builds cards with three levels of summary: a single line, an overview for humans, and technical details. When a project lacks media, the engine generates an abstract patterned cover.

Search pairs standard full-text matching with vector embeddings. You can describe an objective in plain phrasing, and the service surfaces relevant entries with concise rationales. It runs strictly as a read-only process. Because of that, your remote repositories will never receive unexpected commits or branch changes.

The backend deploys on your own hardware, such as a home NAS or a local machine. It connects to agents via MCP or a direct REST API. Users can push new entries through a web view, an Android application, or browser add-ons for Chrome and Firefox. Multi-user accounts keep shared collections distinct from private workspaces.

What it helps with

  • locate stored utilities by describing the target task
  • consolidate scattered agents and MCP tools from GitHub and Gitea
  • query a private tool index directly inside model conversations
  • filter out build badges when parsing repository graphics

Example prompts for the agent

  • Search my VIVATLAS catalogue for an MCP server that audits website accessibility
  • Which tools in my index can scrape pages and handle dynamic tables?
  • Check my saved agents for a utility that generates architecture diagrams
