Vantage checks whether answers from ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity cite a domain for selected queries. It can also identify competing sources and compare a page with an answer that earns a citation. Past results stay available for 180 days, making changes visible across checks.
Its ten tools cover keyword citation checks, citation structure analysis, and discovery of leading sources for a topic. An agent can call them from its MCP-enabled workspace. Sampling several answers helps show whether a citation recurs rather than relying on a single response.
Vantage access is required. Claude Code, Cursor, and VS Code can sign in through a browser on first use; other clients may need an API key in their MCP configuration. The free tier has 30 units per month, and tool calls have different costs, so check the remaining quota before running a batch.
