This server bridges coding agents with the AgentSEO cloud platform. The open-source repository holds only client packages: libraries for TypeScript and Python alongside the MCP wrapper. Backend infrastructure, provider routing, and data processing remain on the hosted service.
Running the local client requires an AGENTSEO_API_KEY. Without a valid API key, requests to the external search endpoint will fail immediately. Configuration also supports optional project and workflow environment flags.
Setup works via standard input/output using npx or by connecting directly to the hosted HTTP endpoint.
