turnale — Claude Code MCP server: tournaments and setup
Run recreational racket-sport tournaments through an AI assistant, with draws, schedules, scores and a live standings page for players.
claude mcp add --transport http turnale https://mcp.turnale.appWhat turnale does
Connect turnale to an assistant, tell it who is playing, and ask it to run the tournament. It creates a draw and schedule, while players follow scores and standings on a shared web page. Supported sports include tennis, padel, pickleball, badminton, squash and table tennis.
Choose formats such as round robin, groups followed by playoffs, or knockout; rotating-partner games are available too. The assistant can handle player and court changes, which you can review before applying and undo afterwards. Players can sign themselves up on the page, and printable PDFs cover the schedule and results. The hosted server is not open source.
When a tournament is created, the assistant receives an organiser key and a player-facing link. The key cannot be recovered, so keep it safe; the link alone only grants read access.
What it helps with
- Create a tournament draw and schedule
- Choose a format for singles or doubles
- Replace a player starting from a later round
- Update match scores and standings
- Freeze the final results when play ends early
Example prompts for the agent
- Set up a padel tournament with these players and make the schedule.
- Replace the player who dropped out with this substitute from the next round.
- End the tournament now and save the current standings as the final result.
