The hosted endpoint at https://mcp.tendem.ai/mcp exposes eleven tools, among them create_task, get_contract, approve_task and get_task_result. Your agent writes the brief, answers the service's follow-up questions, agrees on scope and cost, then collects the finished output.
Installing the plugin also drops in guidance: a tendem-tasks skill that walks the create → scope → approve → fetch path, the slash commands /tendem-task, /tendem-status and /tendem-result, a tendem-watcher background agent and a notification hook that fires on the desktop when a task waits for you. Codex gets the same entry points as $tendem-task.
Money moves only when approve_task runs. In an automated loop, put your own check in front of it and read get_account first, because a thin balance comes back as a top-up link tied to that task rather than a retryable failure. Headless and CI use needs an API key from the Agent builders tab at agent.tendem.ai/mcp; the interactive OAuth flow is not an option there.
