What StudioMeyer Academy does

This server integrates the complete "Memory-First AI Operator" curriculum into your development assistant. The package embeds 6 levels with 63 lessons across English, German, and Spanish, alongside 104 actionable playbooks and 63 build blueprints. Early stages cover prompting basics and task scripting, while advanced modules guide you through persistent context, the MCP standard, hooks, and multi-agent coordination.

You can use the runtime in two distinct ways. Running npx -y mcp-academy over stdio gives you a self-contained offline library that requires no credentials or telemetry. In this mode, the assistant relies on tools such as academy_lesson and academy_search to display content. For persistent progress, quiz evaluation, and course credentials, point your environment to https://mcp.studiomeyer.academy/mcp or supply an ACADEMY_API_KEY.

Evaluation criteria and interactive tutor prompts live exclusively on the hosted infrastructure, so grading quizzes requires an active connection.

What it helps with

  • study the MCP protocol and agent frameworks inside the IDE
  • retrieve architectural guides for building custom tools
  • track lesson completion and submit interactive quizzes
  • read engineering tutorials without an internet connection

Example prompts for the agent

  • Start the StudioMeyer Academy orientation lesson
  • List all lessons in Level 4 regarding persistent agent memory
  • Search the academy guides for building custom MCP servers
