serkan-ozal-driflyte-mcp-server — Claude Code MCP server
This MCP server retrieves topic-tagged material from indexed web pages and GitHub. Use it when an assistant needs external, topic-specific context.
claude mcp add --transport http serkan-ozal-driflyte-mcp-server https://server.smithery.ai/@serkan-ozal/driflyte-mcp-server/mcpWhat serkan-ozal-driflyte-mcp-server does
Driflyte gives an AI assistant access to topic-tagged content from the web and GitHub. It follows links while crawling pages, indexes the results, and retrieves information for a selected topic. GitHub coverage includes repositories, issues, and discussions.
The server is built for RAG workflows, where retrieved documents ground an assistant’s response. It supports local and remote MCP transports. A local setup needs Node.js 18+; the remote configuration uses https://server.smithery.ai/@serkan-ozal/driflyte-mcp-server/mcp.
Usage is capped at 100 API requests per 5 minutes for each IP address. That limit matters when repeated searches come from the same environment.
What it helps with
- search web pages for topic-specific material
- build context from recursively crawled pages
- retrieve facts from GitHub repositories, issues, and discussions
- ground a RAG response with tagged documents
Example prompts for the agent
- Search the connected web sources for current material on this topic and compare the findings.
- Check GitHub repositories and discussions related to this subject, then collect the relevant facts.
- Answer using Driflyte’s topic-matched documents as supporting context.
