Pitroom — Claude Code MCP server: features and installation
Pitroom delegates code reading, fixes, tests, and reviews to worker agents while your main agent keeps going. It returns checked file references, diffs, and token-use receipts.
claude mcp add pitroom -- npx -y pitroomWhat Pitroom does
Pitroom runs worker agents in parallel and sends their findings and exact edits back to the main agent. Delegate code investigation, a change, test checks, or a review while keeping decisions in your primary agent. References formatted as path:line are checked against files on disk.
Workers use the default model of their chosen CLI, and a group can combine different CLIs. With --isolate, a worker operates on a separate copy of the current state; you can then apply its changes with pitroom apply <id> or discard them. Review the diff before applying: conflicting patches are refused.
Pitroom does not commit, push, or reset the repository. In isolation mode, edits stay out of your working tree until you apply them. Install it with npx; supported platforms also include Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf (Devin Desktop), Cline, and Zed.
What it helps with
- delegate file reading to a worker agent
- run separate coding tasks in parallel
- check an agent’s file and line references
- inspect worker edits apart from the main working tree
- collect answers from a group of workers
Example prompts for the agent
- Trace how this request flows through the code and report the relevant files.
- Make this change in isolation and return a diff for review.
- Ask several worker agents to inspect this module, then collect their findings.
