Omie — Claude Code MCP server: setup
Connects an AI agent to Omie for payables, receivables, bank movements, customers and documents. Useful for bookkeeping tasks and reconciliation.
claude mcp add --transport http omie-mcp https://api.mcp.ai/p_omieWhat Omie does
Omie connects an agent to Omie through its JSON API. It can read and edit payables and receivables, register customers or suppliers, inspect financial movements, checking accounts, categories, projects and issued invoices.
The server also handles write operations: create or settle a payable, cancel a payment, move funds between company accounts, and attach a PDF or PNG to an Omie document. It uses MCP over HTTP at https://api.mcp.ai/p_omie, with sign-in through a magic link. Account deletion is permanent, so deletion requests need a careful review.
What it helps with
- create a payable or receivable
- settle a payment or customer receipt
- review movements for bank reconciliation
- transfer funds between company accounts
- attach proof to a financial document
Example prompts for the agent
- Create a R$ 500 payable in Omie for Acme Ltda, due on the 30th.
- List financial movements settled during the last 7 days for bank reconciliation.
- Attach this PDF to the payable I just created.
