What MCP Analytics does

MCP Analytics processes structured datasets to answer business and statistical questions inside your client workspace. When you ask a question, the server evaluates the request first. It determines whether you need a quick data lookup or a deeper statistical test.

Calculations remain repeatable. Identical input files return identical output numbers. Every generated report includes the exact methodology and the code behind it, making it straightforward to re-run on future data files. Without a valid X-API-Key header, the server restricts access to discovery mode, letting you inspect tool definitions while blocking execution.

What it helps with

  • pinpoint revenue shifts across sales channels
  • identify customer accounts at risk of churn
  • generate quarterly revenue forecasts from a spreadsheet
  • save repeatable data reports with charts and underlying code

Example prompts for the agent

  • Inspect sales.csv and explain what caused the revenue gap between May and June
  • Identify which accounts have the highest churn probability in this dataset
  • Project next quarter's revenue using the historical numbers in this file
