Markaestro — Claude Code MCP server for social posts
Connect an agent to Markaestro to draft, schedule and review brand posts and analytics. Useful when you want to handle social publishing through an MCP client.
claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://markaestro.com/api/public/v1/mcpWhat Markaestro does
Markaestro gives an MCP client tools for managing a brand’s posts and performance data. An agent can inspect posts and destinations, save drafts, schedule or edit posts, upload media, and check analytics for a brand or individual posts. Evergreen tools handle recurring content queues.
Choose the hosted HTTP server, which authorizes through a browser, or run the local @markaestro/mcp package over stdio. The local setup needs a Markaestro API key in MARKAESTRO_API_KEY. A post created without scheduledAt stays a draft; publish_post is the tool for immediate publishing, and the agent is instructed to ask the user first.
The server does not expose account settings, billing, team management, API keys, webhooks, or channel connections. It also refuses to delete published posts. Those limits matter if your workflow expects the agent to manage the whole account: those controls remain in Markaestro.
What it helps with
- save a post draft or schedule it for a brand
- revise the copy or timing of a scheduled post
- review brand performance and post-level metrics
- upload media and retrieve its asset ID
- find posting windows based on a brand’s history
Example prompts for the agent
- Draft a post for this brand and show it to me before publishing.
- Schedule this post for the requested time and check the channel rules.
- Review this brand’s post analytics for the selected period.
