MailSenpai — Claude Code MCP server: features and setup
Connects an AI client to MailSenpai email marketing tools for subscriber lists, campaign drafts and domain checks. Use it to prepare campaigns or inspect DNS records.
claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://mcp.mailsenpai.com/mcpWhat MailSenpai does
MailSenpai is a hosted MCP service for email marketing tasks. Its tools can search subscribers, manage lists and segments, edit templates, prepare campaign drafts, show campaign reports and inspect SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX records. The server provides 74 tools, marked for reading, writing or destructive actions.
You need a MailSenpai account with AI access enabled and an MCP client that can connect to remote servers through OAuth. Sign-in happens through MailSenpai; the client does not receive your password. Nothing needs to run on your machine.
Deletion needs confirm_delete, while sending needs confirm_send. Sending and scheduling depend on the account plan, so connecting the server alone does not grant those capabilities.
What it helps with
- inspect a domain’s SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX records
- find a subscriber across mailing lists
- build a segment from subscriber conditions
- prepare a campaign draft from a template
- review campaign reports and recorded bounces
Example prompts for the agent
- Check SPF, DKIM and DMARC for
example.comand tell me what needs attention. - Create a campaign draft for the Customers list using the Welcome template.
- Show campaign statistics and the confirmed subscriber count for each list.
