LivePublicator — Claude Code MCP server: publish press releases
Draft a press release with an AI assistant, inspect a private preview, then publish it to its own page. Useful for announcing company news from chat.
claude mcp add --transport http livepublicator https://livepublicator.com/api/mcpWhat LivePublicator does
LivePublicator lets an assistant help shape a press release, save it as a draft, check it and return a private preview. Once you approve publication, the release appears on a dedicated page with key facts, a quote, Q&A and a press contact.
The hosted MCP server connects over HTTP and uses OAuth. Sign-in happens through a one-time email link, so there is no API key to configure. Its tools can revise drafts, attach a cover image, check publication status and list earlier releases. Previews cost nothing; each published release uses 1 credit, purchased on the LivePublicator website.
Some releases go through a human review before they become public, which can take up to 24 hours. Approval therefore does not guarantee an immediate live page.
What it helps with
- Draft a release for a new product feature
- Turn a blog post into a press announcement
- Announce a newly appointed CTO
- Correct the text of a recently published release
Example prompts for the agent
- Draft a press release about our new feature and show me the private preview.
- Make a press release from this blog post; let me review it before publishing.
- Announce our new CTO and tell me when the release is live.
