Lumify Sports Intelligence — Claude Code MCP server: what it does
Gives your agent live sports data: schedules, scores, odds and line movement. Needs a lmfy-... API key.
claude mcp add --transport http lumify-sports-intelligence https://lumify.ai/mcpWhat Lumify Sports Intelligence does
Lumify Sports Intelligence is a hosted MCP server that feeds an agent sports intelligence: schedules, live scores, odds, line movement, public betting splits and an AI bet-confidence score. Coverage spans MLB, NFL, NCAAF, NCAAB, NBA, NHL, tennis and soccer, with MLS, EPL, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and UEFA Champions League among the leagues. Nothing to self-host: Lumify is a hosted API at https://lumify.ai, and the MCP endpoint sits at https://lumify.ai/mcp over Streamable HTTP in stateless JSON mode.
Auth is a Lumify key shaped like lmfy-.... The quickest route is an instant trial key — 100 credits, 14-day expiry, no signup or card. A persistent account issues a key with 1,000 trial credits. Remote clients pass the key in an Authorization: Bearer header; the local stdio bridge npx -y @lumifyai/mcp reads it from LUMIFY_API_KEY instead, and won't start without that variable set.
The repo also ships client libraries if you'd rather call the API directly: @lumifyai/sdk, lumify-sdk, plus LangChain, LlamaIndex and CrewAI wrappers.
What it helps with
- pull a live game score into an agent without hand-rolling API calls
- check how a line moved before placing a bet
- compare odds across several sports in one answer
- get an explainable confidence score for a bet
- build a live scoreboard from the bundled example
Example prompts for the agent
- Show me today's NBA schedule and the current scores
- What are the odds on the NFL game right now, and how has the line moved?
- Give me the bet confidence score and explain how it was calculated
