Kema Invoice — Claude Code MCP server: invoices from your agent
A remote MCP server that lets an AI agent create and track invoices. Connects over OAuth 2.1 with nothing to install locally.
claude mcp add --transport http invoice https://mcp.kema-studio.com/api/mcpWhat Kema Invoice does
Kema Invoice is a remote MCP server that hands your agent a set of invoicing tools. It speaks Streamable HTTP and authorizes through OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration. The endpoint is https://mcp.kema-studio.com/api/mcp, so there is no package to install. The first call opens a consent page at auth.kema-studio.com; you sign in to your Kema Invoice account, approve, and the client keeps the token. Access can be revoked later from the app or the client.
The server exposes 41 tools split into groups. Invoices cover creation, issuing, listing, PDF retrieval, draft edits, deletion, cancellation, marking as paid, plus line items and their order. Creating an invoice here means issuing it: the agent shows a summary and, once you approve, calls issue_invoice with confirm:true. An issued invoice is a legal document, reversible only with a credit note. VAT is computed server-side by fiscal rules, so the agent never asks you for a rate. Documents come out as Factur-X (EN 16931) and travel through an accredited platform.
You need a Kema Invoice account to use any of this. The trial runs 14 days with 10 invoices, one user, no card. After that there is one plan at €10 per user per month excluding VAT, with every feature included and cancellation whenever you want. Without an account the server returns nothing useful, because authorization is mandatory.
What it helps with
- issue an invoice to a client from the chat
- browse invoices and filter them by status
- grab a PDF of an invoice through a temporary link
- mark an invoice as paid
- fix a draft before it goes out
Example prompts for the agent
- Create an invoice for Acme Ltd with two line items and show me the summary
- List every unpaid invoice from last month
- Give me the PDF link for invoice number 42
