Factuarea — Claude Code MCP server: invoices and VeriFactu
Wires your agent into the Factuarea platform: issue VeriFactu invoices, manage contacts, products and taxes without leaving the chat.
claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://mcp.factuarea.comWhat Factuarea does
Factuarea is an invoicing and management platform for Spanish businesses and freelancers. This is its official MCP server — the production service itself, not a layer sitting on top of the REST API. Your agent gets the same operations the dashboard offers: raise a VeriFactu invoice, check who clocked in this morning, browse the catalog or look at a tax filing.
The server runs at https://mcp.factuarea.com. Nothing to install: point your client at the URL and sign in with your Factuarea account. The consent screen asks which company, which environment — live or test — and which permissions to hand over. MCP access comes with every plan, trial included.
No browser handy? An API key covers CI and scheduled jobs: create one in the developer settings and send it as a bearer token. Keys starting with fact_test_… hit the sandbox, fact_live_… hit the real company. Clients that only launch local servers can use the @factuarea/mcp package, a small stdio server that forwards calls to the same endpoint with your key. It needs Node 20 or later. No business logic ships in the package — tools, rules and permissions stay on the server, so local and remote connections act the same.
What it helps with
- issue a VeriFactu invoice for AEAT
- build a quote from the product catalog
- check who clocked in today
- review company contacts and taxes
- prepare a tax filing
Example prompts for the agent
- Issue an invoice for last month with VeriFactu
- Show me who clocked in today
- Draft a quote from the product catalog
