KeibiDrop — Claude Code MCP server for file sharing
KeibiDrop lets you browse a folder on another computer and transfers file data as you read it. Use it to work with shared files or a Git repository across machines.
Open on GitHubWhat KeibiDrop does
KeibiDrop can show another computer’s files as a folder on your device. You can send selected files, or use Teleport to open remote files in local apps, including Git tools. Transfers are end-to-end encrypted, and files are not stored in a cloud service.
Teleport needs a system driver: macFUSE on macOS, fuse3 on Linux, or WinFsp on Windows. Without the matching driver, that folder mode will not work. Computers on the same network can connect with Local mode; connecting over the internet requires exchanging codes. If a direct connection fails, KeibiDrop switches to an encrypted relay.
On macOS, install the app with brew tap keibisoft/keibidrop, then brew trust keibisoft/keibidrop, followed by brew install keibidrop. The description presents KeibiDrop as a file-sharing app; it does not provide Claude Code MCP setup commands.
What it helps with
- browse a remote folder without downloading its contents first
- send a large file to another computer
- work with a shared Git repository through Teleport
- connect computers over the internet without router setup
Example prompts for the agent
- Open the files on the other computer through Teleport.
- Show me how to connect to KeibiDrop using Local mode.
- Send this file to the other computer with KeibiDrop.
