Judges Panel — Claude Code MCP server: code review
Judges Panel checks AI-written code across areas such as security and cost, combining static analysis with assistant-led deep review. Use it to assess code before a human review.
claude mcp add judges -- npx -y @kevinrabun/judgesWhat Judges Panel does
The server offers 45 specialist checks. Pattern matching and AST analysis run locally without LLM calls; deeper assessment uses prompts that let the assistant review code from expert perspectives. Context-aware evaluation also supports policy profiles, confidence scores, evidence calibration, and uncertainty reporting. More than 200 deterministic patches are included for automatic fixes.
Judges Panel can evaluate code and produce a consolidated Markdown report for a public repository. It requires Node.js 18 or later and npx; the assistant must run the relevant prompts for deep review. This adds checks that linters may not cover, including authentication strategy, cost patterns, and accessibility. It does not replace a linter.
What it helps with
- scan generated code for security issues
- find gaps in authentication and error handling
- assess changes across several quality areas
- create a Markdown report for a public repository
- apply available automatic code fixes
Example prompts for the agent

- Assess these changes for cost, accessibility, and architecture concerns.
- Evaluate this public repository and create a consolidated Markdown report.
