What Partuno — DigiKey & Mouser MCP Server does

Partuno connects an AI coding client to DigiKey and Mouser catalog workflows. It searches parts, normalizes manufacturer numbers and attributes, then compares offers for a requested quantity, including price breaks, minimum order quantities, order multiples, availability, and lead time. BOM analysis covers stock, lifecycle, compliance, cost, and substitute candidates.

Recommendations keep meets, does_not_meet, and unknown evidence states, so an ambiguous attribute is not silently accepted as a requirement. The local setup runs through uvx and uses operator-owned DigiKey and Mouser credentials. There is no shared public endpoint, and ordering is not autonomous.

What it helps with

  • find parts from engineering requirements
  • compare DigiKey and Mouser offers
  • check BOM stock and lifecycle risk
  • estimate component costs from a BOM
  • identify substitute parts with evidence

Example prompts for the agent

  • Search DigiKey and Mouser for parts matching this BOM, then compare offers for the requested quantity.
  • Review this BOM for stock, lifecycle, compliance, and substitute candidates.
  • Compare the exact component across DigiKey and Mouser, showing price, minimum order quantity, and availability.
