Jev-Style — Claude Code MCP server: decisions and setup
A local MCP server for yes/no answers, choices, and ratings with probabilities. It fits agents that handle repeated decision checks.
claude mcp add --env JEV_STYLE_URL=<JEV_STYLE_URL> --transport stdio jev-style -- uvx jev-styleWhat Jev-Style does
Jev-Style runs small decision models on your machine and exposes four MCP tools: noul for yes/no questions, choice for selecting from options, score for ordered ratings, and decide for decisions. The model returns a probability for each option instead of a bare label.
It works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and other MCP clients. Start it with uvx jev-style; no API key is required. Set JEV_STYLE_URL when connecting to a remote server. Inputs longer than 25,600 tokens are rejected with an error, so large files need to stay within that limit.
What it helps with
- classify text with a yes/no result
- select one option from up to 255 choices
- rate an item across 2 to 10 levels
- check a tool call and return allow, ask, or deny
- measure accuracy on labelled data
Example prompts for the agent
- Ask the MCP tool
noulwhether this support ticket should be escalated, including the probability. - Use
choiceto select the best option from this requirements list. - Run
scoreto rate the release risk across 2 to 10 levels.
