invinoveritas — Claude Code MCP server: a second opinion before irreversible actions
A hosted MCP server that hands your agent an independent verdict on a diff, shell command or transaction, plus a signed proof anyone can recheck.
claude mcp add --transport http invinoveritas https://api.babyblueviper.com/mcp/verifyWhat invinoveritas does
Before an irreversible step, the agent calls review and gets a verdict from a party that is not the agent itself: approve, approve_with_concerns or reject, with issues ranked by severity. The verdict is advisory — it never blocks anything on its own. Your code decides what happens next.
Nothing to install: this is a remote Streamable-HTTP MCP endpoint at https://api.babyblueviper.com/mcp/verify. Sign in with standard MCP OAuth where the client supports it, or use a free API key as a Bearer header. verify_proof, ledger and payment_receipt need no auth at all; review and witness do. Nine tools live on the endpoint, including validate and audit_agent_readiness.
The proof is a BIP-340-signed Nostr event pushed to a public ledger anchored to Bitcoin. You can check it offline against the published key, or POST it to https://api.babyblueviper.com/verify-proof for free. Zero-dependency verifiers ship as invinoveritas-verify on pip and npm. Skip the Bearer header and the paid calls simply won't go through — set that up first.
What it helps with
- get an outside read on a diff before opening a PR
- stop an agent on a risky shell command
- verify someone else's proof without trusting the presenter
- notarize exact claim bytes without judging them
- keep a record of a decision that can be rechecked later
Example prompts for the agent
- Before you open the PR, call
reviewon the diff withartifact_typeset tocode_diffandsign: true - Run
reviewon this shell command,artifact_typeshell_command, and list the issues - Recompute the proof with
verify_proofand tell me whether the signature checks out

Questions about invinoveritas
How do I install invinoveritas in Claude Code?
Run claude mcp add --transport http invinoveritas https://api.babyblueviper.com/mcp/verify. Add your key as an Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY header.
What does invinoveritas do?
It gives an agent a second opinion before an irreversible action and returns a signed proof of that verdict. The proof can be recomputed from the bytes, so you don't have to trust the agent or the service.
How is witness different from review?
witness only anchors a third party's exact claim bytes — timestamp and integrity, no judgement. review issues its own verdict.
