INITE Brain — Claude Code MCP server: memory and setup
INITE Brain stores facts across agent conversations in a knowledge graph and ties answers to their sources. Use it when an agent needs to recall earlier discussions or track changes.
claude mcp add --transport http inite-brain-service https://brain.inite.ai/mcpWhat INITE Brain does
INITE Brain keeps structured facts, entity relationships, and context from the conversations or documents they came from. Its graph tracks both when a fact was valid and when the system learned it. When a new statement conflicts with an earlier one, the earlier fact is superseded or the new one is marked COMPETING instead of being silently overwritten.
Connect it to Claude Code with claude mcp add --transport http inite-brain https://brain.inite.ai/mcp. Answers point to the facts that support them, and strict mode can abstain if the evidence does not support a claim. Running the service locally requires Docker with Compose v2, openssl, and an OpenAI API key; the first startup downloads local ONNX models, so the first write can take a few minutes.
What it helps with
- carry project facts between agent conversations
- track when a fact was valid and when it was learned
- surface conflicts between new and stored information
- get answers linked to supporting facts
Example prompts for the agent
- Remember that this project uses SurrealDB as its database.
- What did we decide about the database in earlier conversations?
- Compare this new deadline with stored facts and show the supporting sources.
