GoldenMatch — Claude Code MCP server: dedupe and install
GoldenMatch finds rows for the same person, company, or product and combines duplicates into a merged record. Use it to clean up CSV files or tables with inconsistent entries.
claude mcp add --transport http goldenmatch https://goldenmatch-mcp-production.up.railway.app/mcp/What GoldenMatch does
GoldenMatch links records that refer to the same entity even when their field values differ. It can group name, phone, and address variants, while keeping entries with only a shared postal code separate. Each duplicate group produces a merged record assembled from suitable field values.
The server selects matching settings on its own and returns the configuration it chose. Results include duplicate clusters, records without matches, and merged entries; CSV runs also write result files. The project offers a Python API and CLI. In Claude Code, connect over HTTP or launch the server through uvx.
Local use requires Python 3.11 or later. That version requirement matters if you plan to run GoldenMatch through uvx.
What it helps with
- find person records with different names or phone formats
- group duplicate rows in a CSV
- combine fields from matching records
- separate duplicate groups from unmatched entries
Example prompts for the agent
- Find duplicate people in
customers.csvand merge each group into one record. - Match rows in this CSV despite variations in names, phone numbers, and addresses.
- Show the matched groups and return their merged records.
