Open on GitHubWhat Follow Up Boss does
This server connects an AI agent to Follow Up Boss. Its tools cover CRM work such as finding and creating contacts, moving deals through pipeline stages, scheduling tasks, and editing email templates. Some actions write to the account.
You need a Follow Up Boss account with API access, an API key, and Node.js 18 or later. Run npm run setup to enter the key, test the connection, and choose Safe Mode or Full Access. The setup saves configuration in a local .env file.
The server can read, create, update, and delete CRM records, so back up your data and review proposed changes before confirming them. Restricted API endpoints require credentials issued to your own registered system by Follow Up Boss. Leave FUB_SYSTEM and FUB_SYSTEM_KEY unset if you do not have those credentials; the regular API key works with the unrestricted tools.
