flow-nexus — Claude Code MCP server: cloud swarms and sandboxes
A cloud platform with agent swarms, isolated sandboxes and workflow automation. Useful when you want autonomous tasks running straight from your editor.
claude mcp add --env FLOW_NEXUS_API_KEY=<FLOW_NEXUS_API_KEY> --env FLOW_NEXUS_BASE_URL=<FLOW_NEXUS_BASE_URL> --env E2B_API_KEY=<E2B_API_KEY> --env ANTHROPIC_API_KEY=<ANTHROPIC_API_KEY> --transport stdio flow-nexus -- npx -y flow-nexusWhat flow-nexus does
flow-nexus plugs into your editor as an MCP server and hands the agent cloud tools: spin up an agent swarm, create a sandbox, run distributed training, or wire an event-driven pipeline. Under the hood it runs three linked MCP servers. You drive it through tools like mcp__flow-nexus__swarm_init and mcp__flow-nexus__sandbox_create.
Three keys are required: FLOW_NEXUS_API_KEY, E2B_API_KEY and ANTHROPIC_API_KEY. Without them the server won't start. Registration and login go through the command line or the user_register and user_login MCP tools. New users get 256 rUv credits to start.
The platform is built around competition: tournaments, leaderboards and rewards for code. Sandboxes and compute live in the cloud, so you need internet access and pay-as-you-go billing. Claude, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Cline and Zed are supported.
What it helps with
- deploy an agent swarm to work a task in parallel
- spin up an isolated sandbox for a specific runtime
- build an event-driven pipeline with verification
- run distributed model training in the cloud
- publish a template to the marketplace and earn royalties
Example prompts for the agent
- Register me with flow-nexus using
mcp__flow-nexus__user_register - Deploy a mesh swarm with 5 agents
- Create a sandbox from the node template named api-dev

Questions about flow-nexus
How do I install flow-nexus in Claude Code?
Run `claude mcp add flow-nexus -e FLOW_NEXUS_API_KEY=<FLOW_NEXUS_API_KEY> -e E2B_API_KEY=<E2B_API_KEY> -e ANTHROPIC_API_KEY=<ANTHROPIC_API_KEY> -- npx -y flow-nexus`.
What does flow-nexus do?
It gives your agent cloud tools: agent swarms, sandboxes, neural processing, workflow automation and a template marketplace.
Which keys does flow-nexus need?
FLOW_NEXUS_API_KEY, E2B_API_KEY and ANTHROPIC_API_KEY. The server won't start without them.
