DesktopManager Windows Verification — MCP server
An MCP server for inspecting and verifying Windows x64 desktop apps locally. Read-only by default.
Open on GitHubWhat DesktopManager Windows Verification does
The server plugs into your agent and hands it tools to inspect and verify Windows x64 desktop applications. It runs locally and defaults to read-only, so the agent looks without changing anything on its own.
Supported platforms: Claude, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf (Devin Desktop), Cline, Zed. MIT licensed, repository EvotecIT/DesktopManager.
There are no ready-made install commands for Claude, so you wire it up through the MCP config yourself. If your project has no Windows x64 desktop apps, this server has nothing to work on.
What it helps with
- inspect an installed Windows x64 app and confirm it is present
- check the state of a desktop app without launching it by hand
- give the agent read-only access to Windows app inspection
- verify a desktop app build before release
Example prompts for the agent
- Check that the app is installed and running correctly
- Inspect the desktop app and show me what is wrong with it
- Verify the Windows x64 app build
