DocStoX — Claude Code MCP server: features and setup
Connect an AI assistant to NSE and BSE market data, from company fundamentals to FII flows and index options. Use it to research stocks or prepare an Indian market brief.
claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://mcp.docstox.com/mcpWhat DocStoX does
DocStoX gives an assistant access to current and historical prices, quarterly and annual fundamentals, ownership data, FII and DII flows, F&O, and index options. It can help investigate a company, compare stocks, screen by financial criteria, or put together a market brief. Access is read-only.
The server uses remote MCP at https://mcp.docstox.com/mcp; there is no local build or process to run. Sign in to a DocStoX account during connection through a browser. If your client cannot open a browser for sign-in, use a personal API key instead. Authentication is required to connect.
For Claude Code, you can add the MCP server on its own. The marketplace plugin also bundles five research skills that guide data selection and presentation. DocStoX supports Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf (Devin Desktop), Cline, Zed, and Gemini CLI.
