What Bellman does

Bellman creates rooms that MCP-connected sessions can join from different machines and providers. Before joining, a session can review the creator’s context brief if access was granted, along with the available roles. Its own brief is sent only after it confirms. Rooms can pair two members or host a group, and new role-specific join codes can be issued later.

Tools cover messages, artifacts, action requests and responses, context updates, and progress. bellman_sync checks for peer events by polling; MCP push delivery is not used. That means an agent waiting on another participant must retrieve updates rather than rely on incoming notifications. Bellman also accepts A2A traffic, but that route responds only for public, open rooms.

What it helps with

  • connect agent sessions from different providers
  • share a creator’s context brief with room members
  • pass artifacts between agent sessions
  • send another member an action request

Example prompts for the agent

  • Create a room for this task and give me its join code.
  • Join the room with this code and review its roles before confirming.
  • Send this artifact to the room and ask another member to inspect it.
