autopilot-jobhunt — Claude Code MCP server: scan jobs, draft
Scans company careers pages, scores every role against your resume, and sends top matches to Telegram. Drafts applications only.
claude mcp add autopilot-jobhunt -- uvx autopilot-jobhuntWhat autopilot-jobhunt does
The server walks company careers pages each night, pulls new listings, and runs each one through an LLM fit score from 0 to 100 against your resume. Matches above your threshold land in Telegram, and on demand the agent drafts a tailored resume and cover letter. It never submits anything — you review each draft and apply yourself.
Two ways to run it. Standalone CLI: pip install autopilot-jobhunt, then autopilot init scaffolds config.json, companies.json, a resume/ folder and .env. For Claude, install the MCP extra with pip install 'autopilot-jobhunt[mcp]'. Both modes share the same config and produce the same output.
Before the first scan you fill in config.json with API keys and your profile, and drop your resume into resume/. Discovery needs a TinyFish key, scoring needs OpenRouter, and Telegram alerts need a bot token. No TinyFish key means no scan, so start there.
What it helps with
- find new roles on company careers pages
- score a job against your actual resume instead of keywords
- get top matches pushed to Telegram
- draft a tailored resume and cover letter for one listing
- export scanned jobs to CSV
Example prompts for the agent
- Scan the careers pages and show me new jobs
- Draft an application for job #2
- Export the scanned jobs to CSV
