What AI Tool Discovery Agent does

The CLI searches GitHub repositories and npm packages for blockchain, DeFi, and web3 tools. Keyword filters narrow the results, and OpenAI or Anthropic models can check whether a discovery is crypto-related. By default, projects must have been updated within the last 12 months; adjust the window with --max-age.

Results can be emitted as JSON, and --dry-run lets you test a search without making AI calls. The package also offers a Node.js/TypeScript SDK. AI-based analysis requires either OPENAI_API_KEY or ANTHROPIC_API_KEY; adding GITHUB_TOKEN raises GitHub rate limits. Without a provider key, the AI validation step cannot run.
