aesthetic-computer — Claude Code MCP server: install & usage
Publishes interactive JavaScript experiments, KidLisp graphics, and short chime melodies to aesthetic.computer. Gives you shareable public links without demanding an account.
claude mcp add aesthetic-computer -e AC_TOKEN=<AC_TOKEN> -- npx -y @aesthetic.computer/mcpWhat aesthetic-computer does
This server connects coding assistants to the aesthetic.computer network. Assistants gain the ability to output live creative coding experiments written in JavaScript, generate art with KidLisp, or assemble chime melodies. Every published piece receives a unique public URL immediately.
Under the hood, tools like publish_piece, publish_kidlisp, and publish_clock handle remote deployments. A separate preview_kidlisp tool inspects scripts for syntax issues and interactive hooks prior to release. The package also supplies built-in prompt templates and lifecycle references covering boot, paint, sim, and act functions.
Providing AC_TOKEN is optional because the platform allows anonymous guest submissions. However, publishing without this variable means creations will not link to your personal profile. Identical code automatically resolves to existing URLs.
What it helps with
- share interactive JavaScript sketches via short web links
- validate KidLisp syntax and handlers before publishing
- compose clock melodies using concise tone strings
- fetch boilerplate code containing standard lifecycle hooks
Example prompts for the agent
- Write a bouncing ball animation in JavaScript and publish it to aesthetic.computer
- Generate a KidLisp script with random geometric figures and upload it
- Compose a simple pentatonic clock tune and send it to aesthetic.computer
