AdSwipeFile — Claude Code MCP server: setup
Connects an AI agent to a Meta ad library for competitor research, hook analysis, and angle discovery. The connection is read-only.
claude mcp add --transport http adswipefile https://adswipefile.com/api/mcpWhat AdSwipeFile does
AdSwipeFile gives an AI agent access to Facebook and Instagram ad research through a remote MCP server. It can search by brand, niche, or ad format, inspect hooks and creative angles, compare competitors, and draft new hooks from ads it finds. The package includes five Markdown skills covering onboarding, ad discovery, competitor research, hook writing, and saved-ad reviews.
You need an AdSwipeFile account to sign in through an OAuth 2.1 browser flow; there is no API token to paste. The repository contains manifests and Markdown instructions, with no scripts, hooks, executables, or package installation. Every operation is read-only, so the server cannot edit your account or run campaigns. Its library has no spend, reach, or performance metrics, and it is a curated collection rather than a live Meta feed.
What it helps with
- find a competitor’s ads by brand
- break down hooks and creative angles
- locate UGC or testimonial ads by niche
- compare the angles used by competitors
- draft product hooks from selected ads
Example prompts for the agent
- Find Liquid Death’s ads and compare their hooks and creative angles.
- Show me UGC ads from skincare brands and list the hooks they use.
- Compare my competitors’ ads and suggest angles they have not used.
